Alexander Heilner is a New York–based artist and educator whose work deals primarily with the intersection of organic and human-constructed landscapes and environments. An internationally exhibited photographer for many years, he has more recently been using video, digital, and performance as paths for exploring human perception of the physical world. Heilner holds a M.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts, N.Y., and a B.A. from Princeton University, N.J.
