Amaury da Cunha is a talented photographer and artist, who was born in 1976 in Paris, France. He studied at the École nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles. After graduating, Amaury began developing work that shifted between both image and writing. He works for the newspaper Le Monde as literary critic and photo editor. In 2009, he published Saccades a book of photographs and texts published by Yellow Now. Autobiographically in nature, his work ranges from photography to writing, and it aims to go beyong the personal – questioning the essential fragility of our experience of the world.
