Andi Galdi Vinko is a talented photographer based in Budapest, Hungary, who shoot a lot of still life and portrait photography. With a degree in Photography from MOME (2011) and Art History at ELTE in Budapest, her work has been exhibited in several cities such as Budapest, Berlin, Shanghai, Zurich, Prague and Paris. Her art projects and commercial work have been featured in both print and online magazines such as Vice, Dazed and Confused, The WILD Magazine, Self Publish Be Happy, and Art Forum. As a photographer, Vinko is primarily interested in human situations, and the circumstances of common conventions. Drawn by the snapshot-style attitude, she often finds herself re-staging a spontaneous situation. Both in her portraits and landscapes, Vinko playfully investigates the fragility and tenability of existence by conflicting roles and categories. She is currently represented by Deák Erika Gallery in Budapest.
