Tor-Ivar Næss is a talented 32-year-old self-taught night and landscape photographer and filmmaker based in Nordreisa, Norway. “The aurora borealis and the midnightsun are two of the advantages of living within the polar circle,” he says. Armed with Nikon D810 and Nikon D800E cameras, Tor-Ivar can spend up to eight hours there waiting for the perfect picture.
Living in Northern Norway provides me with plenty of beautiful locations to choose from as I seek the beauty of the mesmerizing aurora borealis and, of course, the midnight sun.
“The landscape in Norway is spectacular with all its mountains and fjords,” Næss explained.
