Barbara Iweins is a talented Belgian photographer, who was born in 1978 in dadaistic Brussels, lived for some time in Amsterdam and now she’s back to Brussels. Her series “7AM/7PM” caught people as they woken up out of their beds. Searching for that lost purity, Iweins decided to photograph her subjects at two different time intervals – 7pm when they’re all prepped and confident, and 7am when they’ve just opened their eyes and didn’t have time yet to slip into their artificial selves.
