Forum Romanum is a reinterpretation of a series I photographed in Italy in the mid-2000’s. The series was originally presented as separate images of the Roman Forum and Palatine and Capitoline Hills. The current series was formulated in stages after experimenting with ideas on how to present the images in a more compelling way. I started by toning the images in a low contrast platinum tint.
