François Ollivier is a talented self-taught photographer and art director, who was born in the south of France and currently based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. François creates narrative portraits in which the environment is often as important as the subject. For his latest “A Bright Interval” series, Ollivier captured portraits of random strangers on the street enjoying a small dose of sunlight.
“This is about our ability to wander and contemplate things. Or what’s left of it. Light in autumn is fascinating and fragile. Everything is brightened by precarious reflections, fading out in minutes, seconds,” François explains.
