Christopher McKenney is a talented photographer and conceptual artist based in Wilkes-Barre, Pensylvania. Christopher started photography in 2012, he specializes in horror surrealist photography. His dark and twisted surreal photography creates scenes that exist on the boundary between terror and beauty. The desaturated images are shot in the middle of the woods, a corn field, a lake, and back country roads. McKenney inspired by the work of the late Vivian Maier, a street photographer of the 1950s and 1960s.
It’s so hard for me to say one thing gives me inspiration – pretty much everything gives me inspiration. Everything helps me, in a way.
