Eric Chang is a talented Chinese-Indonesian photographer and filmmaker, who was born in born in 1990 in East Java and currently based between Los Angeles and New York. The son of a sculptor and a ceramic designer, he spent his early years in his parent’s workshop writing poetry, sketching with charcoals, and sculpting gypsum.

Over the start of his career, Eric started as the head of photography of the Twilite Orchestra. Soon after, he was commissioned to lens numerous celebrities and public figures. Just after 8 months working, he was invited to hold his first solo exhibition at the Intercontinental Hotels’ L’espace gallery. He then served as Photo Director of Pusaka Iwan Tirta for three years from 2008 to 2011, and have worked directly under the Indonesian Batik fashion legend himself until his death in mid-2010.

He later moved to Pasadena, California, in order to push his career further while taking film at the prestigious Art Center College of Design. He graduated with honors in Film Directing and Cinematography..
