Hans van Brakel started his life in professional photography at the early age of 19. At that age he decided to break off with his studies in economics and to dedicate himself to his passion photography. He moved to Amsterdam and started working as a freelance assistant and after only 4 years he started working on his own account.

Today he shoots campaigns and editorials all around the world for brands as Slazenger, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Nordstrom, Vodafone, Amstel Beer, USBasics and State of Art.
Magazines as marie claire, ELLE, Red, Grazia, GQ and Vogue like his clean, pure, fresh and snappy style.

Hans lives in Amsterdam with his wife and his two sons.
