Growing up in Chicago, fashion photographer Jason Kim was always fascinated by the architecture around him. The vast, fluid forms of the city inspired him to develop the modernist aesthetic seen in his own work. Within this unique formal framework; he seeks to create something fresh and unexpected with his signature use of vibrant color, masterful lighting, graphic texture and minimalist composition. The subtle harmony of these elements combines into a distinctive vision that is ultimately timeless, iconic and relevant to the modern world.

Since establishing himself in New York in 2009, Jason’s editorial client list has expanded to include V, VMAN, Teen Vogue, Vogue Korea, Harper’s Bazaar Germany, Harper’s Bazaar en Espanol, Elle, French Glamour, L’Officiel Paris, Madame Figaro, WWD, Out, Bullett, Lurve, Nylon, The Block, Surface, Blackbook and Flaunt. He has attracted brands such as Peter Pilotto, Rebecca Minkoff, Forever 21, Club Monaco, Tim Coppens, Yigal Azrouel, Richard Chai, Sony Music and Interscope Records. In addition, he has photographed numerous celebrities including Diane Kruger, Victoria Beckham, Jessica Alba, Alexa Chung and Lea Seydoux.
