Jody Pachniuk was born in Berkshire England where he spent his first 12 years before his family brought him to sunny Australia to explore new shores. After some interesting jobs – from store man to barista to projectionist, Jody enrolled in film and television where he discovered a keen eye creating pictures.

In his third year of study, he got a placement casually assisting well-known ad photographer Allan Myles. After some clever coffee making and a few shoots later he found himself in Cape Town, a first assistant on a big job for Grey Advertising London. Three years later, after more travel, learning the craft and building his own body of work, Jody went out on his own – bound book in hand peddling his wares.
