Born in 1975, Jonas Unger grew up in Cuxhaven, Germany. After studies of visual arts in Hamburg he moved to Paris in the year 2000. Now he divides his time between Paris and Berlin. His photography is a research work about individualism and intimicy. The latest project of autoportraits is showing the portrayed disregarding of their status or their role in society. His work has been shown in the Fotografie Museum Winterthur and Museum Deichtorhallen, Hamburg.
