Kerry Dean is a talented photographer based in London, UK. She shoots a lot of fashion, editorial and portrait photography. Kerry studied at London College of Printing/University of the Arts. After 2 years travelling Kerry returned to the UK and began exploring work that bridges fashion, documentary and landscape photography. Her first solo exhibition “The emptiness of a land with no fences” was shown at the Muse Gallery London, showcasing a series of landscapes taken in Mongolia. The work went on to be shown as part of a “Winter notes on Summer impressions” at the Six Degrees Gallery London, and was recently shown at The Front View Gallery, Whitstable. The collection is currently available as a series of black & white limited edition prints and colour transparencies mounted in light-boxes.
Over the last few years, Kerry has become increasingly interested in exploring the ideas that sit outside conventional fashion and editorial; she recently completed her second shoot at the Royal Ballet, featuring members of the company rather than models, she has also worked on a number of projects to highlight the need for greater social and environmental awareness in the fashion industry.
