Lauren Marsolier is a French artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. She has been the recipient of the 2013 Houston Center for Photography Fellowship award, and will have a solo exhibition there May 3 – June 23, 2013. She received the 2012 Photo Center NW first place award, and the Humble Art Foundation selected her for their 31 Women in Art Photography 2012 exhibition at the Hasted Kraeutler gallery in New York. She was also part of Landmark, a major London exhibition curated by William Ewing, which gathered “works by the most important 21st Century photographers working with landscape and environmental themes”. Her images have appeared in many international publications, and were among American Photo Magazine’s Best of 2012. The British Journal of Photography has featured her as one of 20 photographers to watch in 2013.
