Marie Arago is an American photographer that lives in Haiti. She studied photography at the International Center of Photography and has spent many years traveling and working in Latin America. Marie created a photography summer camp for youth in Anguilla and has taught photography to teenagers at the National YoungArts Foundation and MOCA in Miami. She is a founding member of FotoKonbit a non-profit initiative that teaches photography to youth and adults in Haiti. Marie lives in Port-au-Prince where she works as a freelance photographer for international publications and organizations and as a director and teacher for FotoKonbit.
