Photography Annual 2013 a coveted industry award which cemented his position as a premier lifestyle photographer. Additionally, his first short documentary won a spot in the 2012 Communication Arts Annual. On top of shooting, Mark is also considered an international expert on the photogravure process and has been recognized by TED, The Library of Congress and Harvard University.
Mark’s first book, Fires, Fuel and the Fate of 3 Billion (Oxford University Press) chronicles the struggle of the energy impoverished in rural India and was published in the fall of 2013.
