Melissa Vincent is a superb talented mobile photographer and 37 years old mother from North Mississippi, who brings surrealism to her images of Southern comfort. She started out just exchanging photos with her sister (Ali Jardine) back in 2011. But Instagram allowed this stay-at-home mom in Hernando, Miss., to tap into a creative side that she hadn’t been able to give voice to before. All of her work is done on the iPhone proving that mobile photography has a place in the art world. Melissa’s photographs have been featured on National Geographic online. Melissa resides in Mississippi with her husband, Matthew, and two sons, Eli and Ari.
