Elaine Li (previously featured) is a 25-year-old photographer, art director and avid traveller who was born and raised in Hong Kong, and currently spent her time between Melbourne and Chicago. “After living abroad for 7 years, I’m now back in my hometown, building my career in advertising as an Art Director in 4A advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather,” Elaine says. Li received her BFA degree in Visual Communication Design from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Elaine Li visited the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, this October and documented her journey on the one of the most mysterious subway system, because every year only a few thousand visitors can enter the north.
Pyongyang subway, built in 100 meters underground, is one of the world’s deepest subway system.
