Olivo Barbieri is a talented Italian photographer, filmmaker and artist, who was born in 1954 in Carpi, Emilia-Romagna and currently based in Modena, Italy. He studied at the University of Bologna. Olivo shoots miniature still photography by simulating shallow depth of field via the use of tilt-shift lens photography. For his series “Adriatic Sea Dancing People”, Barbieri hopped in a helicopter to take his shots of people frolicking on Balkan beaches.
