Rachel Wolfe makes photographs, sculptures, video, and installations, often incorporating sound and performance. Wolfe`s work investigates power and the relationship humans have with the unknown. Materials are sourced from photography and everyday life. Water, light, reflection, rock, space, string, plants, and items found in the darkroom, workshop, or home are reoccuring elements used to create physical spaces and photographic depicitons of tension, suspension, vibration, and shifts in perception.
