Richard Bernardin was born in Chicago but now lives between Paris and Montreal. After studying film and photography, he embarked on a successful career in fashion photography. Modernist architecture, the sensibilities of Newton and Avedon and the films of Kubrick, Hitchcock and Wong Kar-wai have greatly influenced his style. With a strong attention to color, story telling and expression, his images are the perfect combination of striking sensibility and subtle distinction. Richard’s photographs have been featured in Russian, Quebec & Canadian Elle, Brazilian Vogue, French Grazia, PLEASE!, Dressed to KILL, Fashion Magazine, BULLETT and S Magazine, to name a few.
