Sam Edmonds is a documentary and conservation photographer born in Newcastle, Australia. He graduated with a degree in photography from the Queensland College of Art before beginning his career working with NGOs in South-East Asia, Antarctica and Northern Europe.

Both during and after studying, he has won several national and international prizes including category runner-up in Australia’s Top Emerging Photographer Awards, 1st place in the International Conservation Photography Awards, a featured artist at Photoville 2014, New York City and shortlisted for the Fremantle International Portrait Prize. He has exhibited in Australia, South-East Asia and the United States.

Sam currently lives in British Columbia, Canada and is a contributor at Corbis Images.
