German photographer Sebastian Erras travels the world – including Paris, Venice and Barcelona to uncover the hidden magnificence of the floor ornaments in European cities. His newest series in collaboration with pixartprinting, capture the distinctive prettiness of London flooring, the place he walked the metropolis to take pictures of the typically unseen.
“Some of the most amazing interiors I have seen in London are hidden behind anonymous facades and grey street fronts, Sebastian says. — Floors tell a lot about the spirit of a city. But what’s more important, floors create a unique atmosphere.”
