Simon Brown was born in Jamaica, the son of an Army Major, and come to the United Kingdom as a child. Travelling to the Middle East and Afganistan in his late teens and recording and observing all that he saw, he discovered his fascination with photography. He graduated from The Medway College of Design in 1982 and immediately began working for a London Studio. Simon Brown’s work is rooted in both Art and Journalism. His early work was chosen to be among the first to be published in the inougural editions of ID Magazine, since when he has been in demand by leading international publications including World of Interiors, Vanity Fair, House & Garden, Archutectural Digest and Vogue magazine.

His work both in portraiture, still life and architecture has been published throughout the world.
