Tami Bahat is a self-taught fine art photographer whose passion lies in molding the obvious into the extraordinary. She strives to push the boundaries of her own imagination, as well as the viewer’s, by creating bold works of art from striking perspectives.
Born in Israel, her family made the big move to Los Angeles while she was still very young. In this new environment she was most influenced by her parents, a former dancer and a graphic designer. They created a very supportive and nurturing environment for their daughter in which she developed a strong affinity for writing, singing and various other artistic endeavors. The family traveled regularly all over the world, allowing her to meet all kinds of interesting people. This gave her a deep respect for humanity as a whole, seeing there was more than one way to live life.
She still calls Los Angeles home, where she lives and breathes fine art photography and also follows her humanitarian calling. Working with many charities and non-profit organizations, she hopes to use her time here to make a significant difference in people’s lives.
