Thom Atkinson is a professional photographer based in London. He captures people, locations and still life with equal consideration. With a gentle, observational touch, his portraits are composed, natural and intimate. He chooses his still life subjects carefully, seeking out the curious and the everyday, making both equally precious.

Thom is currently developing several new personal projects. The first contemplates Britain’s relationship with war, at a time when the conflicts of the 20th Century are passing into the national mythology. The second focuses on the legacy of the Blitz in London, where over a million buildings were damaged or destroyed by aerial bombing.
