Lee Chapman is a talented photographer based in Japan, who captures the frenetic atmosphere of everyday life in Tokyo through beautiful and amazing images. Lee is a long-term resident of Tokyo who arrived in 1998 for ‘a year or two’, and, for a myriad of reasons, stayed put.
“Japan means many things to many people, but Tokyo Times is how I see it,” he says. “The places. The people. The day-to-day situations. All of it shot using a Leica, and now and again, a Nikon.”
When not working as a high school English teacher, photoblogger Lee Chapman, a U.K. native, walks the streets of Tokyo in search of stories for his Tokyo Times photoblog.
