Tom Jamieson is a documentary photographer based in London, UK. Focussing on socio-political issues and people groups, his stories have ranged from Iraqi Christian refugees living in Turkey to disenfranchised Iranian youth, immigration in Greece, Cornish trawler-men and the Mayan Apocalypse and have appeared in The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, WIRED, CNN, Dazed and Confused, The British Journal of Photography, MTV, VICE, Another and Hunger amongst others.

His work has been recognised with the Canon / Royal Photographic Society Undergraduate Bursary, a scholarship to attend the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul and an IdeasTap Innovators Grant. He was listed as one of the BJP’s ‘Graduates to Watch in 2012’ and has exhibited at both FOTO8 / HOST Gallery and Margaret Street Gallery.

Tom interned at VII Photo in New York and graduated from University College Falmouth with a First-Class Honours degree in (BA) Press & Editorial Photography. He is a member of Frontline Freelance Register and holds completed Hostile Environment (HEFAC) training.
