Born in San Francisco, Tosca Radigonda first looked through a camera at age 14. Within one week of photography class she told her teacher that she would become a professional photographer. After graduating from the Academy of Art College, she moved to Italy to pursue her dream to become a fashion photographer. Without any support or contacts, she pushed with an unstoppable desire to reach the city that in those years represented the fashion world Mecca. In a time when young female photographers were still struggling to emerge in a male dominated field, Tosca, in a few short years broke through working for national and international fashion magazines and advertising campaigns.

Being awarded a photoshoot by an art director who perceived her extraordinary ability to capture the magic of children, marked a drastic turn in her career. Once back in the States she decided to focus on this aspect of her profession becoming one of the most notable baby and kid photographers in the United States.

Tosca’s gentle appearance hides an indomitable willpower. Well bridled in her gracious manners that don’t know belligerence. For this reason she has been working for years now with kids of all ages, capturing in her images the astonishment, the abandon, the delight, the joy and the tenderness. Rendering untouched those indefinable but vibrate sensations that grab us while observing our kids world, so close to us but so irreparable lost.

With boundless passion to narrate visual stories, Tosca recently added motion to her repertoire, keeping the soft, beautiful aesthetic so apparent in her still photography.

Tosca lives in Austin Texas with her husband and son.
